Summer is almost here, what screams summer break more than a D-I-Y Lemonade stand? This Lemonade stand was a hit with our kids and kept them occupied for quite a while. The kids have been asking to do a lemonade stand for quite some time so we decided to put one together over spring break. The weather wasn’t quite lemonade worthy but this was something that the kids could use over and over again all summer long! This would also be a great inspiration for a summer party or birthday.
First let me tell you a little about the actual stand. It is so cute right?!! So I wanted to create a stand that was easy to store and could be used in multiple ways for different things. I got with my genius dad and we came up with the design. I am so excited to share the how-to instructions on this in a future post because you could use this stand for SO MANY different things. For now just look at how great it is for this lemonade stand!
The rest of the stand was pretty easy to put together. The kids made up the lemonade and we picked up some delicious lemon treats from a local bakery. We probably could have made them with the kids, but seriously who has time for that?! We for sure over did it with lemons for the lemonade and for the decor. We used white and blue dishes that we had on hand for serving and added some florals for a finishing touch.
We made the adorable banner out of watercolor citrus pack found on creative market (you can find it HERE ). You get lemons, limes and grapefruit graphics in the digital download plus some backgrounds and a whole bunch of extras. We just printed the lemons out and cut them out and strung them on the banner. We printed smaller lemons that we tied on the cups with some ribbon for something extra special and fun for the customers. This ended up being a fun, simple craft that both you and your kids can enjoy together!
We of course had to take the opportunity to do a photoshoot with the kids and the lemonade stand. I don’t think this was their favorite part but it sure did make us moms happy!
